All of the proceeds from Via Colori benefit The Center for Hearing and Speech, a 501 (c)(3) organization that identifies and serves children with hearing impairments. 

When and where is Via Colori?
Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

How much does it cost to attend the festival?

What is new at the festival this year?
Each year 200+ artists create unique street paintings using pastel chalks - street paintings that you will only be able to view for two days and then they will become memories. See a full list of the activities and entertainment for Via Colori.

How can I create my own street painting at Via Colori?
Please visit the Artist section to find out more information on becoming a Via Colori artist.   All sponsored squares are assigned to artists prior to the festival.  You can, however, create a 2’ square of your own in Via Bambini for a $10 donation.

Can I bring my dog to the festival?
We love our four-legged friends, but the City of Houston does not allow pets in the Park or within the festival gates.  We strongly encourage you to leave your pets at home for their safety as well as the protection of the street art.

What activities will you have for children?
Via Colori is a family-friendly event and has activities for all ages.  Families can visit Via Bambini neighborhood to create their own street art and participate in a variety of fun activities.  To see a complete list, please visit the activities section

What if it rains?
Via Colori will take place sprinkle or shine, but if severe weather is expected both days then the festival will be moved to an alternate location.  If precipitation is expected only one day of the festival then Via Colori will proceed as planned (we know from experience that we can still have a great one-day event).   Please check the Weather section of our website the day before the event to view the latest updates or call 713-523-3633.

What food and beverages are available?  Can I bring my own?
There will be a variety of delicious food and beverage options available for sale throughout the festival, including beer and wine for those 21 years of age.  No outside food or beverages are allowed.  Revenue from on-site food and beverage sales helps the festival to remain an admission-free event.

Can my business rent a booth?
If you are a food vendor, there is a limited number of opportunities available.  Please contact Kathlee at kakers@centerhearingandspeech.org or 713-528-9327 for further information.  There are no other vendor opportunities; all booth activities are provided by sponsors of the festival.

Is the festival wheelchair accessible?
Yes, each area of the festival is accessible, including available ADA compliant restrooms.
