Dr. Baysinger is a pediatric audiologist, Doctor of Audiology graduate student supervisor, and the hearing screening coordinator for The Center for Hearing and Speech. She is also a certified Healthy Hearing (hearing screening) Director for Special Olympics. Dr. Baysinger received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin with honors, and then her Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) with a specialization in pediatric aural habilitation from The University of Texas at Dallas. Dr. Baysinger completed her Au.D. externship at Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas. After completing her externship at Cook Children’s in 2007, Dr. Baysinger joined the Audiology department at The Center for Hearing and Speech. Dr. Baysinger provides clinical services at The Center for Hearing and Speech including pediatric hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings, cochlear implant mapping, as well as Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) evaluations. She is moderately proficient in both Spanish and American Sign Language. She is currently a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and the American Academy of Audiology (AAA).
