Mirinda Reynolds, an acclaimed Virginia artist and private school art instructor, performs and teaches one hour south of Washington, D.C.
Since 1995 her work has been featured in numerous local and national shows, feminist art journals, restaurants, private collections and in the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts gift shop. Her two-story mural design was chosen in 2012 as a Fredericksburg, VA city initiative to improve and beautify the Rt. 3 Eastern entrance to the city. Mirinda has participated in a decade of public art programs in the Fredericksburg area for a decade, Including mosaic murals, sculpture, fiber arts and street painting.
As the Signature Artist of the 2011 Via Colori® Fredericksburg Street Art Festival, Mirinda studied under the world-renowned street painter Melanie Stimmell, who was the visiting Featured Artist. Mirinda is currently serving on the Fredericksburg Area Museum's Via Colori Committee and teaches several workshops thought the region. She also assists with the planning of their September 2013 festival.
