May is Better Hearing and Speech Month and CHS has partnered with ASHA* for their national Identify the Signs campaign. This campaign aims to educate the public about the warning signs of communication disorders. Speech, language, and hearing disorders are treatable and early detection is a major contributor to quicker, shorter treatment periods, and lower costs for families and the community alike.
Is a child you know having difficulty listening or speaking?
Communication disorders are treatable but the longer they are ignored, the harder they become to treat.
