Alberto Viloria Olvera – Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico
Alberto Viloria is from Monterrey Nuevo Leon Mexico, and is an industrial designer, illustrator, set designer and publicist. Alberto Viloria discovered the street painting in 2005 at the Bella Via festival in Monterrey, Mexico. Since then he has participated in this festival and others around the world.
Alberto´s themes of street paintings are reproductions of artists such as Caravaggio, Norman Rockwell, Alfredo Castaneda, Chavez Morado and compositions the same design. "I enjoy images that have an enigmatic mysticism that often have to do with the game and alchemy”.
Alberto has participated in festivals in France, Italy and the US, and has won awards. When not working with chalk on the street, Alberto paints portraits with a personal touch using elements of pop art. He also creates illustrations for commissioned book covers.
